All of Canyon Appraisal’s appraisers are State Certified Residential or Certified General and have experience in all areas of real estate including brokerage, underwriting, consulting, and banking.

Errors and Omissions Insurance (E&O) is held by all appraisers and each client assigned to Canyon Appraisals is covered at the maximum level. Proof of insurance can be found listed among the appraiser profiles and a hard copy can be furnished upon request.


William Lane – Supervisor/Reviewer
Partner at Canyon Appraisals.  William Lane has been an appraiser and reviewer for over 15 years and has extensive experience in real estate appraisals which include single family, condominium, land, 2-4 unit income properties and new construction per Fannie Mae guidelines.

Laurie Powell - Appraiser
Partner and founder of Canyon Appraisals.  Laurie is also the Office Manager. She prides herself on extensive knowledge and expertise in her service areas.  She enjoys the challenge of determining the estimated value of properties using the most current appraisal methods and technology. Laurie stays abreast of all changes and improvements in her field of expertise by participating in continuing education classes yearly.
